A Visit to L'ezu Atelier

Last week, I went to visit my sister in LA to see the opening of her first solo art show (which was unbelievable...more on that tomorrow).

While I was there, I visited the ladies at L'ezu Atelier, my favorite bridal shop in LA. I used to carry L'ezu Atelier gowns in my bridal salon before we closed, and ever since I visit my friends when I am in LA.

As always, it was so nice to be surrounded by all their gowns. It's one of the things I miss about my own shop. Gorgeous dresses everywhere. For me, at least, the smell of silk, the elegant draping, and exquisite details on all the gowns gives me the same calm feeling I got when I when I used to watch my mom get ready to go to parties when I was little.

Anyway, before I get too maudlin, I saw some really fierce details, like knife pleats and tiers. Corina and Patty, the designers, promise me I will see more of that in New York next week at Bridal Market. How fun that I still get to go to report on the goings on even though I don't have a shop anymore! Thanks Wedding Aces and Wedding Wire!

I also got to try on some blingy jewelry (which pretty much made my day) and found a killer broach.

All pictures are by me at L'ezu Atelier. I know I am not fooling anyone with my photog skills!
