Hailing from Berlin, designer Liv Lundelius of Blushless designs stunning, modern gowns with breathtaking wearable avant-garde design. Even better is the fact that Liv creates her gowns out of eco-friendly materials such as vegan leather and free trade silk.
Liv herself is a sassy breath of fresh air, and I am thrilled to be able to have her and her wonderful collection on Foxy!

FW: How would you define your style?
Liv: Feminine, and wild at heart and weird on top - I love dresses, cause they make a woman's body look so beautiful. I hate pants with women, especially denim.
FW: Who do you have in mind when you design your gowns?
Liv: Strong personalities, great women, and when I designed the latest collection it was David Lynch's movie "Wild At Heart."
FW: Who is/was your style icon?
Liv: A lot of my friends, real people that I see regularly as well as Filmcharakters.
FW: What influences and inspires your designs?
Liv: Life, the stories behind people, movies and big cities.
FW: What factors do you take into consideration with each collection?
Liv: If the shape is flattering to the woman's body, if it's cool, if I or my friends would wear it on their special day. The process to create a dress and design it to the point that I am really confident with the shape takes usually some time. I like to work sculptural and love experimental stuff.
FW: Where and in what fabrics are your gowns created?
Liv: In this collection the main fabrics are Peace Silk, and Vegan Leather.
I also used antique linenlace, recycled microfibres and a lot of natural Silk Tulle.
FW: Can you give us any hints about your Spring 2010 Collection?
Uhhhh exciting!
Liv: It will be about Transformation. Most gowns will be re-wearable. I don't want to say more for now ; )
FW: How would a girl go about getting a "Blushless" gown?Liv: She should contact us via the online shop. We just launched our own online shop. Blushless aims to work personally and professionally with all our customers every step of the way. We realize that your dress should be perfect for your special day, and therefore encourage you to get in touch with any specific information we will need to make your dress perfect, for you. She should also check out the be blushless blog, to check out the latest projects, we are organizing and might find a trunkshow, or pop-up store in a city next to her.
FW: What advice would you give to ladies on the hunt for their gown?
Liv: Stay true to your style, don't look too much what others are doing and they shouldn't feel pressure to wear something that represents a stereotype role model of a bride, not themselves. You will get married to someone that loves you and you will celebrate with your friends and family so it's extremely important to be yourself on this special day.
