DIY Wedding Gown Made from Coffee Filters

Yes, yes, I realize I have already posted about a DIY toilet paper wedding gown.

However, this wedding dress composed entirely of COFFEE FILTERS is surely worth mentioning. Not only because the bride, Aimee Kick, created it herself...she made it to wear it. To her wedding. Which is different from the toilet paper dresses, I think, since they were part of a contest.

Aimee is from Austin. (I came across this lovely coffee filter dress via the Austin Wedding Blog.) I am not surprised! I have a friend who lives there, and she loves it - she says Austin is a super creative, easygoing place. I have seen on the Food Network how good the food is there. So, it stands to reason such inventiveness, ingenuity, and skill would also come from a bride out of Austin!

The dress is not only really fetching and well designed, but the fit looks really great as well - no small feat, I assure you.
